January 30, Fineko/abc.az. The number of pawnshops operating in Azerbaijan has been announced. In 2023, the number of pawnshops operating in the country reached 1,200, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Tax Service.

"The STS database contains information on the presence of 1,199 taxpayers with pawnbroking activity. Keeping records of pawnshop loan portfolios does not fall within the competence of the Service."
