January 23, Fineko/abc.az. The non-bank credit organizations of Azerbaijan received net profit of 75.8 million mantas last year (2.9-fold, or 50.1 million manats more year-on-year), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA.

NBCOs’ net interest income increased 2.1-fold in 2023 versus the previous year up to 160.4 million manats, and operating profit 2.6-fold up to 99.3 million manats. In 2023, NBCOs paid income taxes for 17.4 million manats.

As of January 1, 2023, the assets of the NBCOs totaled 758.5 million mantas (47.1% more in annual comparison). 600.8 million manats or 79.2% of assets are loans given to customers. The sector's loan portfolio grew by 36.4% last year.

During this period, NBCOs’ liabilities increased by 45% year–on-year, up to 443.3 million manats, and the balance sheet capital by 50.1% up to 315.2 million manats.
