January 22, Fineko/abc.az. The stages at which accounting will be carried out in e-form by medium-sized businesses have been defined.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the decree signed today by President Ilham Aliyev on amendments to the Law on Accounting from December 22, 2023 #1059-VIQD "On the application of the Law #1059-VIQD and the settlement of some related issues" from 2023.

According to the decree, accounting by medium–sized businesses in e-form will be carried out in the following stages:

- persons providing financial services established by the Tax Code - from January 1, 2024, persons providing telecommunications services - from April 1, 2024;

– persons engaged in the sale of oil and gas products at gas stations - from July 1, 2024;

– sports betting operator - from October 1, 2024;

-other medium-sized businesses - from January 1, 2027.
