January 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the currency auction on January 18, the demand of banks amounted to $58.0 million and was fully secured. This is $5.1 million or 9.64% more than at the last auction.

At a foreign exchange auction on January 16, the CBA sold $52.9 million to banks.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
