January 17, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of 4th quarter of 2023, the total loan portfolio of seven banks in Azerbaijan exceeded AZN 1 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that these figures are reflected in the financial statements of banks. Thus, the bank with the highest loan portfolio belongs to the Azerbaijan International Bank – AZN 5.48 bn.

Kapital Bank ranks 2nd in terms of its loan portfolio with AZN 4.27 bn, and PASHA Bank ranks 3rd with AZN 2.835 bn.

The loan portfolio of Xalq Bank in the 4th quarter amounted to AZN 1.826 bn, the loan portfolio of Bank Respublika – AZN 1.174 bn.

During the reporting period, Unibank gave loans to customers for AZN 1.47 bn and AccesBank - for AZN 1.13 bn.

Iran Melli Bank and Bank Avrasiya were the banks with the lowest loan portfolio. The amount of loans given by these banks to customers in the last quarter totaled AZN 4.78 million and AZN 137.169 million, respectively.
