January 16, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, the return on investment of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAZ) made up 7.1%, which is the highest rate of return in the entire history of the Fund.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in SOFAZ’s report on the results of 2023.

The yield on bonds and money market instruments for this period amounted to 3.1%, on stocks - 4.3%, and a loss on real estate - 0.3%. SOFAZ's total investment portfolio reached $56.069 bn for the reported term.

In 2022, the investment portfolio amounted to $49.034 bn, and the return on investment was -5.2%.
