January 16, Fineko/abc.az. As of December 31, 2023, the assets of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) increased by 14.3% up to $56.069 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOFAZ, Fund’s budget surplus for 2023 amounted to AZN 9.829 bn.

SOFAZ's revenues for 2023 totaled AZN 21.66 bn. The Fund's expenditures in 2023 amounted to AZN 11.832 bn.

The Fund's revenues from the sale of profitable oil and gas reached AZN 14.519 bn, transit – AZN 800,000, bonuses – AZN 800.7 million, acre payments – AZN 3.6 million.
