January 12, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, compensation for damage to the State Budget in the amount of AZN 44.4 million was ensured, ABC.AZ was informed at the Tax Service.

In addition, as a result of preventive measures taken in connection with materials that constitute a crime for tax arrears and received from tax authorities, AZN 6 million were paid to the State Budget.

As a result of the investigative and operational measures carried out in criminal cases, 14 persons wanted for tax crimes were detained and transferred, 1,245 persons evading the preliminary investigation were forcibly brought for interrogation, 2,297 people were located, information was given to the investigation and 612 persons were brought to the investigation.
