January 11, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, Azerbaijan produced 48.3 bcm of natural gas.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Energy that production of 12.9 bcm was recorded on Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, 26.2 bcm on Shah Deniz, 800 million cu m on Absheron, 8.4 bcm on SOCAR. Compared with 2022, gas production grew by 3.2% (1.5 bcm).

Gas sales abroad reached 23.8 bcm (5.3% more versus 2022). 11.8 bcm of gas were sold to Europe, 9.5 bcm to Türkiye and 2.5 bcm to Georgia. 5.6 bcm of gas were delivered to Türkiye via TANAP.
