September 28, Fineko/abc.az. ExxonMobil will act as the operator of a project to develop unconventional hydrocarbon resources in Azerbaijan, SOCAR informs.

According to the Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) signed between SOCAR and ExxonMobil for the exploration, development and production of unconventional hydrocarbon resources in the Middle Kura basin of the Republic of Azerbaijan, equity participation in the contract area is distributed through the relevant subsidiaries in the ratio of 50% of SOCAR and 50% of ExxonMobil. ExxonMobil is responsible for the operation of the project.
