January 11, Fineko/abc.az. Several international hotel brands are expected to open in Azerbaijan this year.

ABC.AZ reports that chairman of board of the Association of Hotels of Azerbaijan Eldar Alimuradov said about this at the Forum of Tourism Industry Subjects in Baku.

He recalled that in 2022 there were 757 hotels, 27,312 rooms, 56,562 beds in the country.

"It is encouraging that measures are being taken to develop tourism in Karabakh. We believe that soon we will see international hotel brands from investors in the liberated territories, and that, starting in 2024, a new stage will begin in the hospitality and hotel business in Azerbaijan," he said.
