January 9, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of 2023, the assets of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 49.2 billion mantas (4.5% more than at the end of 2022).

ABC.AZ reports that Zakir Nuriyev, the chairman of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan, stated about this at the Azerbaijani Financial Forum on the theme "Achievements & Challenges" held in Baku.

"In particular, last year, banks' credit investments in the economy increased by 18.3% and reached 23.2 bn manats, and the loan dollarization coefficient was 18.8%," he said.
