December 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.
According to the CBA, at the currency auction on December 26, the demand of banks amounted to $79.9 million and was fully secured. This is $9.8 million, or 10.93% less than at the last auction. It should be noted that at a foreign exchange auction on December 21, the CBA sold $89.7 million to banks.
Following today's auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
