December 26, Fineko/abc.az. The head of the plant of the State Oil Company (SOCAR) has been replaced.

ABC.AZ reports that Emil Alkhasli has been appointed the director of plant SOCAR Polymer. Prior to this appointment, Farid Jafarov held this position.

Emil Alkhasli previously headed SOCAR Downstream LLC. Prior to this appointment, he worked in SOCAR subsidiaries, including SOCAR Turkiye and the world-famous energy company TOTAL.

Having started his higher education at Baku State University, in 2002-2006 he received Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Economic Cybernetics, in 2007-2008 —Master's Degree in Petroleum Economics and Management at the Russian State University of Oil & Gas, as well as Master's Degree in Project Management at the George Washington University School of Business.
