December 26, Fineko/abc.az. The number of payment cards in circulation at the end of November through the systems of banks and Azerpocht LLC grew by 355,000 cards compared with last month and reached 16.565 million cards.

ABC.AZ reports that compared with Jan-Nov 2022, this figure increased by 22.9%.

The growth of payment cards was 23.2% on debit cards and 21.2% on credit cards.

As for Jan-Nov 2022, the number of salary cards grew by 107,000, credit cards by 381,000, other cards by 2.5 million.

The growth in the number of payment cards has had positive impact on non-cash payments. Thus, during the month, the non-cash transactions within the country doubled versus Jan-Nov 2022.
