December 21, Fineko/abc.az. The total rate of citizens of Azerbaijan, who went abroad increased by 25.5% versus Jan-Nov 2022 up to 1,709,400 people for Jan-Nov 2023.

The number of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan traveling to the Russian Federation grew 1.5-fold, to Georgia by 32.8%, to Türkiye by 21.9%, and to Iran dropped by 25.8%.

Males made up 65.1%, while females made up 34.9% of the total populationş

Over Jan-Nov 2023, 67.8% of Azerbaijani citizens visiting foreign countries used air transport, 29.8% by rail and road, and 2.4% by sea.
