Azerbaijani population’s income increased by 12.2%, but prices did not remain stable either

December 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2023, population’s nominal income per capita reached 6,917.1 manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that this means an increase in nominal income per person by 12.2% year-on-year.

The total nominal incomes of the population grew by 70.223 bn manats per year.

The consumer price index (inflation) in Azerbaijan for November was 9.4% per annum. In October, it was 10.2%.

As of October 1, 2023, 10,168,400 people lived in the country.
