December 15, Fineko/abc.az. Production of the first oil from the Central Eastern Azeri (CEA) platform, built on the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of oil/gas fields located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, is scheduled for March 2024, ABC.AZ informs with reference to SOCAR's annual report (based on the results of 2022).

"It is predicted that the production of the first oil from the platform will begin in March 2024," the report says.

The ACE project worth $6 billion is the next stage in the development of a huge ACG field in the Caspian Sea.
