December 13, Fineko/abc.az. Recently, there has been an attempt of new cases of fraud outside the country.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that as a result of an investigation conducted on the basis of appeals from citizens received by the CBA, it became known that unknown persons were trying to embezzle citizens' funds through social networks under the guise of providing investment services, promising high profits on behalf of investment company Maryam Invest.

The scammers claim that this company has received a license from the CBA, and on the basis of forged documents they are trying to gain the trust of citizens, encouraging them to invest in accounts provided by them in foreign banks.

The Central Bank once again urges the population to be attentive and not to be deceived by the offers of scammers, and before using investment services, to clarify the legality of the activities of persons offering these services and the list of persons licensed, use the official website of the Central Bank (https://www.cbar.az/page-200/investment-companies).
