December 6, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2023, 39 small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Azerbaijan received startup certificates.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy that of the 39 recipients of startup certificates, 37 are microentrepreneurs and 2 are small entrepreneurs.

Currently, 120 startup certificates have been issued. This certificate exempts from paying income tax and income tax on innovative activities for a period of 3 years from the date of receipt of this document.
