December 5, Fineko/abc.az. 5,521 new taxpayers were registered in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for Jan-Nov 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that Abbas Ismayilov, the head of the local state tax service, said about this.

He added that 90.5% of them were individuals and 9.5% - legal entities and other organizations.

"Compared with Jan-Nov 2022, the number of registered taxpayers increased 1.9-fold, including individuals - 1.7-fold and legal entities – 18-fold. Of the taxpayers registered in the current period, 111 are persons engaged in pharmaceutical activities, and 95 are persons rendering medical services. Compared with early 2023, there was an increase of 28% in the number of registered persons engaged in pharmaceutical activities and 17% in the number of taxpayers engaged in the provision of medical services," Ismayilov emphasized.
