Portfolio of micro-loans of banks in Azerbaijan exceeds 2 billion manats

November 24, Fineko/abc.az. As of November 1, the portfolio of micro-loans of banks in Azerbaijan has grown up to 2.528 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in Central Bank’s statistical bulletin for Jan-Oct 2023.

The bulletin notes that this means an increase of 115.6 million manats per month or 5%.

In accord with Cabinet Ministers Resolution #556 from December 21, 2018, a micro-entrepreneur is considered to be a person aged from 1 to 10 years with annual income of up to 200,000 manats.
