November 23, Fineko/abc.az. The banking sector of Azerbaijan received net profit of AZN 908.2 million for Jan-Oct 2023 (18% more versus Jan-Oct 2022), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The operating profit of country’s banking sector for Jan-Oct amounted to AZN 1.369 billion (22.6% more against the 2022 same term).

For the past 10 months, banks' operating income totaled AZN 3.948 billion (24.1% more than a year ago), operating expenses – AZN 2.536 billion (25.3% more), transfers to special reserves – AZN 268.4 million (27.9% more), windfall income – AZN 2.6 million, and income tax payments – AZN 237.8 million (33.6% more).
