November 15, Fineko/abc.az. The subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) - ADY Container LLC begins cooperation with world's largest shipping companies Maersk and COSCO.

ABC.AZ reports that within these projects, it is planned to carry out cargo transportation by containers in various directions along sea lines and by rail.

By joint efforts of Maersk and ADY Container companies, the first container cargo delivery from Spain to the Kazakh port of Aktau will be carried out. The Maersk vessel will deliver containers loaded with fish feed to the Georgian port of Poti. Here the containers will be loaded onto platforms and delivered by rail to the Baku port by operator ADY Container. Then the containers will be delivered by ship from the port of Baku to the port of Aktau.

And within the framework of cooperation with Cosco, a container train from Kazakhstan will enter Azerbaijan by rail from Yalama station, from where it will be delivered to the port of Poti. Then the containers loaded with products of the metallurgical industry must be delivered to Italy by ships. The operator of cargo transportation on the territory of Azerbaijan and Georgia is ADY Container.
