November 13, Fineko/abc.az. Next year, 1.11 bn will be allocated to finance activities in the agricultural sector and to ensure food safety.

ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said this during the discussion of the Draft Law on State Budget 2024 at today's Milli Majlis meeting.

The minister informed that AZN 507 million of those finances will be spent on the rational use of water resources:

"Since 2024, it is planned to support development of entrepreneurship through a number of financial instruments of the State Budget. AZN 100 million will be allocated for the economy and entrepreneurship development sector and AZN 35 million for utilities in the territories liberated from occupation. Along with the strengthening of the defense capability, the reintegration of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur into the country's economy, in 2024 it is planned to allocate funds from the budget to increase the international prestige of our state, to provide assistance to foreign countries and international organizations. The expenses of diplomatic missions have been increased more than by 7%. AZN 14 million will be allocated for measures to support the Azerbaijani diaspora living abroad."
