November 13, Fineko/abc.az. Moody's rating agency has downgraded the outlook for the U.S. rating from Stable to Negative amid a potential suspension of the work of their federal government.
ABC.AZ reports that at the same time, the agency confirmed the long-term credit rating and the rating of priority unsecured debt of the U.S. at the highest level - Aaa.
"In the context of higher interest rates, without effective fiscal policy measures to reduce government spending or increase revenue, Moody's expects that the U.S. budget deficit will remain very large, which will significantly weaken the debt obligation," the agency said.
