November 6, Fineko/abc.az. State Budget 2024 envisages compensation payments in the amount of 1.7 million manats to solve problem loans to individuals. Taking into account the existence of numerous questions about this, I would like to note that the State Budget stipulated allocation of finances for these purposes in previous years as well, ABC.AZ reports, referring to MP Vugar Bayramov.

"The cancellation of debt on loans to families who received the martyr family status during the anti-terrorist operation carried out in September of this year in Karabakh is also reflected in the legislation. According to the Tax Code, it does not apply to income received from writing off debts to banks and other credit organizations of participants of the Patriotic War and persons who received the status of martyrs, who died as a result of hostilities and military provocations for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War, as well as after the Patriotic War and persons with disabilities. Reserves created for the principal amount of identified debited debts relate to expenses deducted from income.

In this regard, the write-off of debt on loans for these priority groups will also be considered next year. This is aimed at strengthening the social security of these families," the MP said.
