November 1, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan today, the number of banking transactions for the purchase of foreign currency, including the US dollar, exceeds the number of transactions for their sale.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov stated about this at a press conference.

He added that this is linked with growing confidence of citizens in the national currency, as well as increase in population’s income in manats.

"Nevertheless, banks maintain annual limit of 20,000 manats for the sale of foreign currency," he added.
