Trade surplus at end of this year to be $13.9 bn

November 1, Fineko/abc.az. Central Bank’s chairman Taleh Kazimov revealed the accounting corridor at a press conference.

Answering questions, the chief banker noted that the trade surplus at the end of this year will amount to $13.9 billion. He noted that non-oil exports grew by 15%.

The current account surplus is projected at $10 billion by the end of this year. And the average oil price is set at $84. Central Bank’s chair announced that the current account by the end of 2024 will amount to $8.5 billion.
