October 19, Fineko/abc.az. Muğanbank has been liquidated in compliance with CBA Board’s decision from October 18, 2023. Now everyone is wondering how to return deposits in the bank.

ABC.AZ reports that Muğanbank is a member bank of the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund, and compensation for deposits of the population insured in this bank will be paid by the ADIF in accordance with the legislation.

Other obligations of Muğanbank will be settled in accord with the legislation by the liquidator, who will be appointed by the court. According to Bank’s reports submitted to the ADIF, at the end of Q3 of 2023, insured (compensated) deposits in the bank amount to AZN 216.7 million.
According to the calculations of the bank's depositors, 99.9% of deposits will be compensated.
