October 13, Fineko/abc.az. Industrial production in the eurozone rose by 0.6% in August compared with the previous month, ABC.AZ informs with reference to Eurostat’s data for August and the eurozone.
Industrial production in the EU in August grew by 0.6% versus the previous month and decreased by 4.4% against August 2022.
The highest monthly growth in industrial production among EU countries in August was recorded in Ireland with 6.1%, Slovakia with 4.5% and Lithuania with 3.7%.
The largest decline in industrial production occurred in Hungary with 2.4%, Croatia with 2.2% and Belgium with 1.8%.
The highest annual underlying growth in industrial production was calculated in Slovakia (by 4.7%), Denmark (by 3.5%) and Malta (by 3%), while the largest declines were in Ireland (by 27.3%), Slovenia (by 12.3%), and Estonia (by 11.9%).
