October 12, Fineko/abc.az. As of October 1, 2023, 87.3% of 1,489,737 taxpayers registered in the republic were individuals and 12.7% - legal entities and other organizations.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Tax Service that compared with Jan-Sept 2022, the total number of taxpayers increased by 7.3%, including the number of individuals by 7%, and the number of legal entities by 9.2%.

As of October 1, 2023, the number of commercial organizations reached 172,410. Compared with Jan-Sept 2022, the number of commercial organizations grew by 9.8% and active commercial organizations by 13.4%.
