September 2, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving the "Rules for Conducting the State Cadastre of Real Estate."

Formulated in accordance with the Law "On State Real Estate Cadastre, Land Monitoring, and Land Management," the rules regulate the incorporation of quantitative and qualitative real estate data into the state cadastre and define legal frameworks across the sector.

Under the decree, the state cadastre remains the property of the Republic of Azerbaijan and will be managed by the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy via the "Electronic Register and Cadastre of Real Estate" information system. Sectoral cadastre data across various state agencies will be integrated into the central system via the E-Government Information System.
