KIA employees plan strike in South Korea

October 11, Fineko/abc.az. KIA employees decided to go on strike with demands for higher wages and shorter working hours.

ABC.AZ reports that the plant's employees will start a strike on October 12 and plan to hold it within 6 working days.

In KIA, an organized trade union demands an increase in the minimum basic monthly wage by 184,900 won ($138.12), a salary equal to 30% of KIA's net profit in 2022, an increase in the retirement age from 60 to 64 years and a 4-day working week.

From July to the present, the Union and the leadership have held 14 meetings.
