October 9, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Monday’s trading after the decline following the past week.

The price of December’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange grew by $2.91 (3.44%) up to $87.49 per barrel by 08:57 am. Following the trading on October 6, Brent crude futures for December rose by $0.51 (0.61%) to $84.58 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for November on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 08:57 am grew by $3.13 (3.78%) to $85.92 per barrel. Following the trading on October 6, the price of November’s WTI oil futures increased by $0.48 (0.58%) to $82.79 per barrel.

Over the past week, Brent crude oil fell by 8.26% and WTI by 8.81%.
