September 11, Fineko/abc.az. In the 2nd quarter of 2023, the demand for mortgage loans in Azerbaijani banks increased by 23%, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to the report, the demand for domestic mortgage loans from banks increased by 2% and for loans from the Azerbaijan Mortgage & Credit Guarantee Fund by 19% for Q2 of 2023.

Azerbaijani banks also expect a 23% increase in demand for mortgage loans in the 3rd quarter of 2023, including 8% for domestic mortgage loans, and 27% for AMCGF loans.
