September 8, Fineko/abc.az. Getir, a Turkish food delivery company, is raising $500 million in a deal that brings the value of one of the most popular startups during the pandemic to less than a quarter of its value 18 months ago.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press that Getir's latest investment will value the company at $2.5 billion, taking into account the new funds.

When the company raised funds in early 2022, it was valued at as much as $11.8 billion.

After rapidly expanding worldwide, Getir is currently withdrawing from several markets and has focused its operations in five countries: Türkiye, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and the USA.
