September 8, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 16,022 cash registers for $2.687 million for Jan-Jun 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to calculations on the basis of the State Statistics Committee’s report, this indicator is 2.3-fold less in value terms and 47% less in numerical terms against Jan-Jun 2022.

Our country imported 30,327 cash registers for $6.78 million in the 1st half of 2022.

The imported cash registers fell in price by 16% against the same term of 2022. So, if for the first 6 months of 2023 the average import price of one cash register was $167.7 (285 manats), then for the relevant period of 2022 this figure was $200.4 (340.7 manats).

15,745 cash registers (98.3%) imported by Azerbaijan were delivered from China.
