August 31, Fineko/abc.az. Russia's GDP grew by 1.6%  in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that the assessment was given by Rosstat.

According to preliminary estimates of Russia's Ministry of Economy, in the first half of 2023, the country's GDP grew by 1.4% in annual terms.

According to the current forecast of the ministry, in 2023, the GDP will grow by 1.2%. The new agency forecast will be published at the end of August.

The Central Bank of Russia believes that GDP growth this year will be 1.5-2.5%.
