Azerbaijan exported over 10,000 tons of watermelons to Russia last year

August 3, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, Azerbaijan exported 10,140 tons of watermelons to Russia.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan took the 4th place among the main suppliers of watermelons of the neighboring country last year.
In total, Russia imported 78,000 tons of watermelons for the reported term. The main suppliers were Kazakhstan (37% of imports), Uzbekistan (22%), Turkey (20%) and Azerbaijan (13%).

Last year, Russia also exported 15,000 tons of watermelons. Belarus became the main buyer of watermelons of this country (74% of exports). In addition, Mongolia and Estonia bought watermelons from Russia.
