August 2, Fineko/abc.az. Sumgait Technology Park LLC has become the winner of the investment competition announced in connection with the sale of the governmental equity stake in Sumqayıt Tekstil LLC.
ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Service for Property Issues (under the Ministry of Economy), that in accord with the purchase and sale agreement, the investor has undertaken obligations to transfer AZN 5 million to the State Budget, as well as to implement an investment program at the enterprise in the amount of AZN 9.1 million during 2 years.
The competition winner plans to create 350 new jobs at the enterprise as a result of investments.
