July 21, Fineko/abc.az. Supreme Pharmatech Manufacturing LLC, which will produce bio-active food additives and medicines in Azerbaijan, also plans to use many food waste products after the launch.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to newspaper Vergilər that Mushfig Huseynov, the director of Thai-Azerbaijani JV Supreme Pharmatech Manufacturing LLC. He added that pomegranate processing enterprises in Goychay throw out the peel and seeds of pomegranate after the production of narsharab and pomegranate juice:
"But we can take these shells and seeds, turn them into nanoparticles and use them. As they are a source of one of the most powerful antioxidants in the world. We are currently purchasing this raw material in the USA. But we are already thinking about replacing these export raw materials with domestic ones. Secondly, we are thinking about buying apple seeds from apple processing enterprises in Guba."
