July 10, Fineko/abc.az. The number of users of Threads application, an analogue of Twitter from Meta Corporation, has grown to 100 million in just 5 days, ABC.AZ reports with reference to TechCrunch portal.

Threads reached this mark on Monday morning.

On July 6, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that Threads had attracted 5 million users in the first four hours since the launch on July 5.

On the same day, the owner of Twitter, businessman Elon Musk, said that the company intends to sue Meta for "systematic, deliberate and misappropriation of Twitter's trade secrets and intellectual property".

"Competition is good, cheating is not," Musk wrote on his Twitter page.
