New head of Baku Main Customs Department appointed

July 6, Fineko/abc.az. The new head has been appointed at the Baku Main Customs Department.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant order was signed by State Customs Committee’s chairman Shahin Bagirov.

Under the order, Elmir Ramazanov was appointed to this position.

The State Committee confirmed the information.

Ramazanov was born in Baku in 1988. In 2009 he graduated from the Faculty of Legal Regulation of Economics of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

In 2022, he entered the Faculty of Public & Municipal Administration of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan.

He started his career with a degree in the Ministry of Taxes. Since 2012, he has worked in various positions, starting with the position of inspector in the tax system. As a result, he was promoted to deputy head of the Main Department of National Revenue of the State Tax Service.

By SCC chairman’s order from August 15, 2022 he was appointed deputy head of the Baku Main Customs Department.
