June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2023, the compensation payments of 15 out of 20 insurance companies in Azerbaijan increased against last year, payments of four insurers decreased; and as one company (Meqa Həyat Sığorta OJSC) did not make payments for the 2022 same term, the dynamics of its payments is not recorded.
ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the CBA’s statistical report.
According to the report, the company whose payments increased the most in one year is joint insurance company Aqrar Sığorta. In 5 months, this company paid AZN 1.002 million (7.1-fold more than a year ago). The smallest increase in payments was recorded on PAŞA Sığorta. This company’s payments amounted to 30.94 manats (2.5% more than a year ago).
The worst situation among companies with reduced payments was recorded on Xalq Sığorta. Over the past 5 months, this company paid AZN 9.874 million (0.3% less than a year ago). And the best situation on the reduction of payments was recorded on AtaSığorta. This company’s payments decreased by 56.4% to AZN 1.237 million.
