June 16, Fineko/abc.az. There were gaps in connection with mandatory car insurance. Thus, insurance companies refused to provide insurance agents with commissions in an informal form. That’s why drivers are currently facing difficulties with compulsory insurance of their cars, ABC.AZ reports, quoting expert Ilkin Ibragimov.
Recalling the bonus-malus system, the expert noted that the one who gets into an accident pays more insurance premiums, and the one who does not get into an accident during the year gets a discount on insurance.
"After these rules were established, the problem of these insurance agents faded into the background. As insurance agents used to receive some kind of commission. And now it's not. Now they give to some, but not to others. So, certain problems have arisen in the issue under consideration. At that, the driver cannot insure the car everywhere. Those who used to work as an agent now do not insure every car. Now everything is legal in this matter. For example, you submit your document, they look, if the driver has an accident, then a malus is added to it, that is, they receive an additional insurance premium, and if there is none, they provide a certain discount," Ibragimov said.
