June 12, Fineko/abc.az. The German government and American microprocessor manufacturer Intel cannot agree on the amount of Germany’s subsidy for Intel for construction of a plant in Germany.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Financial Times, German Finance Minister Christian Lindner rejected Intel's demand for an additional subsidy.

The cost of building a microprocessor producer plant is estimated at €17 bn, of which Germany was ready to pay only about €7 bn.

Meanwhile, Intel is now demanding a subsidy of €10 bn, justifying this with increased costs for electricity and construction.

Lindner stated to the Financial Times that there is no money in the German budget, and the country is trying to cut budget expenditures, not increase the budget.
