April 17, Fineko/abc.az. Türkiye lost its place to China, losing the title of "importing the most cars to European countries".

ABC.AZ reports that it is linked with the fact that China has more than doubled its car exports to Europe in a year.

During the same period, Türkiye’s exports to Europe stopped.

Cengiz Eroldu, president of the Automotive Manufacturers’ Association (OSD), presented the results of the automotive industry for the 1st quarter in Istanbul last week and conducted important sector assessments.

Eroglu pointed to losses in the global competitiveness of the sector, despite the fact that automakers increased production and exports in the 1st quarter.
