April 7, Fineko/abc.az. Fines for unauthorized construction work are increasing.

ABC.AZ reports that this was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Code of Administrative Offences, submitted for discussion at a parliament meeting.

Under valid law, individuals are subject to a fine of 300 to 500 manats, responsible officials from 1,500 to 2,500 manats, and legal entities from 15,000 to 25,000 manats for construction of facilities without obtaining a permit, established by the Urban Planning & Construction Code, from the relevant executive authority or an institution established by the relevant executive authority.

The draft amendment says about a fine of 800 to 1,000 manats will be applied to individuals, from 2,500 to 4,000 manats to responsible officials, and  from 20,000 to 25,000 manats to legal entities.

After discussion, the bill was put to the vote and adopted in the 1st reading.
