April 3, Fineko/abc.az.  President Ilham Aliyev has received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy Edmondo Cirielli on 3 April.

ABC.AZ reports that speaking about successful development of Azerbaijani-Italian bilateral relations, the head of state stressed the importance of mutual visits in this regard and assessed the visit of 3 Italian ministers to our country from the beginning of this year to the present, as well as the deputy minister today, as an indicator of a very high level of our relations.

Stressing that relations between our countries are developing in the plane of strategic partnership, President Aliyev noted that most of our ties are connected with the energy sector, stressed that the steps currently being taken towards the energy security of Europe further strengthen Azerbaijani-Italian cooperation.
